Restorative Dentistry in Forest Lake
Whether you need a simple filling, to replace a tooth with a crown or are seeking the most modern, effective solution to replacing missing teeth, Lake Dental can help. Dentist Dr Paul Holliday offers a variety of restorative dentistry services.
White Fillings for a Brighter Look
Tooth-coloured fillings ensure that your smile stays white and bright. Our dentists use a laser so that no anaesthetic is necessary during the procedure — no drilling noise and no vibrations since your teeth aren’t touched. We can also replace existing metal fillings with this more aesthetically pleasing option.

Crowns Created on the Same Day
The cutting-edge CEREC machine takes a scan of your teeth, designing, milling and glazing your crown straightaway. An experienced technician works in-house to create your durable device that you’ll receive on the same day as your appointment.
Dental Implants for Missing Teeth
A specialist in-house performs the surgery to place your dental implant under general anaesthetic or sedation. Your tooth is then placed after a healing period. If you’re eligible for an immediate implant (for example, you’re replacing a broken tooth rather than a missing one), the healing period isn’t necessary, and you’ll get your implant straightaway. Otherwise, the process takes about three months in total.
If you have missing teeth and choose not to replace them, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders can arise. Existing teeth will tilt into the gap over time, changing your bite, wearing the teeth down and resulting in problems over time. By putting in a dental implant, you can prevent these issues from occurring.
Help for TMJ Sufferers
TMJ dysfunction is painful and can come from varied sources. We have diagnostic tools available to determine the cause of your pain. Even tooth sensitivity can be a result of TMJ problems, despite your tooth being perfectly sound. The digital occlusal analysis we’ll take of your teeth is the only one of its kind in the world and shows you clearly and objectively which of your teeth have been affected.
Payment Options Available
We want to make sure excellent dental care is accessible to you and your entire family. We offer a range of payment plans and will be happy to detail them to you so that you understand your options.
